What safe operating procedures should be followed for gantry cranes?
Gantry crane is a kind of crane, then what safe operating procedures should be followed for gantry crane operation:
(1) Crane subgrade and track laying shall comply with regulations, and the track ground resistance shall not be greater than 4Ω.
(2) The track should be straight, the bolts on the fishplates should not be loose, and there should be no obstacles in the running range of the track and crane. Gantry cranes should release the rail clamp.
(3) The key inspection items before gantry crane operation shall meet the following requirements:
a. The appearance of the mechanical structure is normal, and there is no looseness of each connection;
b. The appearance of the steel wire rope is good, and the rope card is firm;
c. Each safety limit device is complete and intact
(4) No-load operation should be performed before operation.After confirming that each mechanism is operating normally, the braking is reliable, and each limit switch is sensitive and effective, it can be operated.
(5) Before starting, an acoustic signal should be sent out to indicate that the lifting and lowering operations of the heavy objects should be performed at a steady and uniform speed.
(6) The lifting route of heavy objects is strictly prohibited from passing above people and from above the equipment. When walking on an empty car, the hook should be more than 2m above the ground.
(7) Slowly drive after lifting heavy objects. When traveling, do not change gears suddenly or reverse. When two cranes are working at the same time, they should maintain a distance of 3m ~ 5m. It is strictly forbidden to use one crane to push another crane.
(8) When the operator enters the rack from the control room or performs maintenance and inspection, he should have an automatic power-off interlock device or cut off the power supply in advance.
(9) In the case of gantry operation, when there are strong winds of Class 6 or above, the operation should be stopped and the rail clamps should be locked; when the deflection of the main beam of the gantry crane exceeds the specified value, it must be repaired before use.
(10) After operation, the gantry crane should be parked on the stop line, locked with the rail clamp, and lift the hook to the upper position. Do not hang heavy objects on the hook.
(11) After the operation, the controller should be turned to the zero position, cut off the power, close and lock the doors and windows of the control room.
(12) Before using the electric hoist, check the mechanical and electrical parts of the equipment, the wire ropes, hooks, limiters, etc. should be intact, the electrical part should be free of leakage, and the grounding device should be good.
(13) Electric hoists should be equipped with buffers, and baffles should be set at both ends of the track
(14) The electric hoist is strictly overloaded for lifting. When lifting, the hand must not be held between the rope and the object. When the lifting object is raised, it should be prevented from collision.
(15) Lifting objects should be strapped firmly. When the electric hoist is lifting a heavy object, it should not exceed 1.5m in height. Do not suspend heavy objects in the air during work
(16) When abnormal conditions such as odor and high temperature occur during electric hoist operation, the machine should be shut down and inspected immediately, and the fault can be continued before use.
(17) During lifting, when a heavy object falls out of control due to a failure, emergency measures must be taken to lower the heavy object to an unoccupied location; no rapid lifting is allowed during lifting
(18) After the operation is completed, it should be parked in the designated position, the hook is raised, the power is cut off, and the switch box is locked.
