The braking distance of electric hoist is too large
After the electric hoist stops operating, the brake is unreliable, and there is still a certain distance sliding. In this case, the electric hoist generally has a problem and needs to be checked and adjusted.
When the electric hoist is out of service for a long time, someone adjusts the brake adjusting nut by mistake, or the brake ring wears too much, which reduces the brake spring pressure and the braking force. When the electric hoist is stopped, the braking is unreliable and the sliding distance exceeds the specified requirements. In this case, just readjust the brake nut according to the instructions. However, it should be noted during work that it is forbidden to adjust, inspect and maintain the brake when lifting heavy objects. Advantages Adjusted the brake nut, and the sliding distance still exceeds the specified requirements. In such situations, other reasons must be considered. First, disassemble the brake ring and check whether there is oil on the brake surface. If there is oil on the surface, the friction coefficient will be reduced, causing slippage during braking, and the sliding distance exceeds the specified requirements. Only adjusting the brake nut is not very useful. Only thoroughly clean the brake surface to restore the friction coefficient of the brake surface. Secondly, if the brake ring is loose or damaged, the brake ring cannot guarantee effective braking. Only replace the brake ring. The brake adjustment method is as follows:
1. Remove the rear cover of the motor.
2. Remove the adjusting nail of the motor shaft end, and rotate the lock nut clockwise or counterclockwise when increasing the braking torque. Generally, each adjustment is 30-90°. When the braking torque is reduced, the rotation direction of the lock nut is opposite.
3. Install each piece in turn in the reverse order of disassembly.
4. Observe the axial movement of the motor shaft after adjustment, generally 1.5mm is appropriate.
5. Sometimes it is found that the brake ring is not damaged, only the conical surface of the brake ring rear cover is in poor contact. During braking, the contact area of the brake surface is too small and the braking force is too small, making the sliding distance exceed the specified requirements. During maintenance, in order to increase the braking force, the poor contact position should be found, and the contact surface should be increased to increase the contact surface during braking. If it cannot be repaired, the parts need to be replaced. In addition, long-term use of the brake pressure spring will cause fatigue, which will reduce the spring force. When the brake is stopped, the brake is not strong, and the spring should be replaced and the braking force should be readjusted. Lifting hoist motor coupling does not move well or can not be contacted, so that the braking effect of the hoist is good or bad. In such cases, the coupling should be repaired or replaced.
