Precautions for safe operation of mobile cantilever cranes
Regulations for safe operation of mobile cantilever cranes
1. The mobile cantilever crane should keep a safe distance from obstacles such as trenches, pits, and equipment when operating, parking, and driving.
2. The mobile cantilever crane should be placed on a flat and solid ground during operation to prevent the body from tilting.
3. When the cantilever crane (no load) moves, the four safety screws should be suspended at a height of 1-2 cm from the ground.
4. The outriggers should be supported before lifting, so that the safety screw and casters are on the ground at the same time.
5. Personnel should stay away from the equipment during operation to ensure safety.
6. Ensure that the weight of the lifted objects cannot exceed the rated lifting capacity.
7. When the swing arm rotates, the action should be slow and no emergency braking is allowed.
8. When hoisting heavy objects, the cantilever crane is strictly prohibited to move.
About the maintenance of mobile cantilever cranes (depending on the user's frequency and environment)
1. The equipment should be maintained monthly, including the lubrication and cleaning of the bearing, gear and chain of the column beam, the tightening of the screws, whether the wires and cables fall off, and whether the hoist has abnormal noise, etc.
2. The equipment should undergo major maintenance (including minor maintenance) every 6 months.
1. Whether the rotating motor and gear are operating normally.
2. The roller and the raceway fit well.
3. The swivel arm can flexibly rotate 360° around the column.
4. The end of the swing arm beam reaches the upper deflection F≥R/250, and whether the beam sags or not. At the same time, check whether the bearing at the connecting part of the beam and the column has an upward displacement (this is very important. If there is a displacement, the beam may It is very dangerous to fall off separately! It needs to be returned to the factory for repair immediately).
5. Whether the gourd trolley fits tightly on the beam.
6. Whether the hoist chain is severely worn (replace if any).
7. Whether the control handle and control line are in good condition.
Additional considerations for mobile cantilever cranes
In addition to the precautions for fixed-column cantilever cranes, the following two points should be done:
1. If it is a mobile cantilever crane, it is strictly forbidden to move it during the hoisting process. The safety screw must be fully opened during use and rotated to the ground to make the foot fully contact the ground.
2. If moving the cantilever crane, please rotate the safety screw foot up to 3 cm above the ground and fully open it to prevent the swing of the hoist and the swing arm from causing unbalance and rollover.
