Overload protection device

Torque limiter

Torque limiter is a safety device for boom-type cranes to prevent overturning. Check the sensitivity and reliability of the torque limiter by the amplification method or the weight increase method, and check whether the comprehensive error of the torque limiter alarm and the set point of cutting off the power source is within the specified range.

 

Limit position limiter

Check whether the luffing mechanism of the lifting equipment, the lifting mechanism and the running mechanism reach the set position distance, and whether an alarm signal can occur and automatically cut off the power source running in the dangerous direction.

 

Windproof device

For gantry cranes where the height of the articulation point at the root of the boom is greater than 50 meters, the anemometer should be checked, and whether the alarm can be accurately reported when the wind speed set point is reached or the working limit wind speed is reached. Cranes that operate on the track in the open air should check whether the parts of the rail clamp, iron shoes, and anchoring device are deformed, defective, and the reliability of their independent work. For automatic rail clamps, the reliability of the windbreak function and the electrical interlock switch function in the non-anchored state should be checked in conjunction with the sudden gust windbreaker and the brakes of the cart.
