Gantry Crane Maintenance Procedures
1、Routine maintenance
(1) Clean the dust and oil on the exterior surface of the driver's room and the body; clean thoroughly once a week;
(2) Check whether the brake clearance is appropriate;
(3) Check whether the keys and coupling bolts on the coupling are tight, and check whether the fixing bolts of the gearbox are loose or broken;
(4) Check whether the electric bell and each safety device are reliable;
(5) Check the wear and tear of the brake skin and wire rope;
(6) Check whether the contacts of the controller are close and match and whether the carbon brushes of the motor are worn.
2、 Primary maintenance (once a month)
(1) Add oil to the rolling bearings;
(2) Check the insulation of all electrical equipment;
(3) Control panel, protection disc, controller, resistor and each terminal block, wiring screws are tight.
(4) Check the oil level of the reducer, the oil level of the brake rolling solenoid and lubrication.
(5) Check whether the transmission noise, running speed and working current are normal.
Secondary maintenance (quarterly)
(1) Check the wear and deformation of rails; check the wear and tear of wheels.
(2) Check the wear and deformation of the hook, especially the change of the opening degree.
(3) Check and adjust the installation and alignment of motors and reduction gearboxes of large and small vehicles, winches and other transmission mechanisms.
(4) Check the wear and tear of the wire rope and its fixation in the reel.
