Cantilever crane: Method for repairing jib crane parts
A wide variety of jib cranes are constructed from numerous parts. And these parts are damaged due to various factors during use. If you just throw these parts away, everyone will feel very wasteful. Below I will share with you three methods of parts repair.
I. Repair Dimension Method: The shafts and holes of the jib crane parts are formed into ovals and irregular shapes due to uneven wear in use. During the repair, within the range allowed by the part structure, the worn shaft or hole is machined to restore the correct geometric shape or mating properties through the change of size. This method is called repair dimension method.
2. Inlaying method: Inlaying method is to insert a new metal sleeve at the worn part of the part to restore the part to its original size. This method is called inlaying method.
3. Partial replacement, turning and overturning repair method: When the damage occurs in the part of the part and the rest does not need to be repaired, the part that needs to be repaired is cut off, the part is remade, and then the welding is used to connect the part with the body as a whole. The repair method to restore the original performance of the part after final processing is called partial replacement. Due to the characteristics of use, some parts often wear on one side, and the other side has less wear. If the structure of the part allows, under the condition that the part is not completely repaired, the unworn side of the part can be used. This is called the turning and turning repair method.
